Industry survey to take snapshot of TCF

The survey seeks to gain an insight into industry sentiment, manufacturing, importing and exporting, risks and opportunities for the sector.

This year’s survey also looks to find the main causes behind decisions to move manufacturing offshore. It also asks companies what measures they are taking to protect their intellectual property.

The survey is open to all retailers, importers, wholesalers, manufacturers and associated industry members of the textile clothing and footwear industry.

The survey is being conducted by London-based polling company Survation and all information and responses will be completely anonymous.

Survey participants will be sent a summary of the results and any pertinent findings.

You can complete the survey here http://surveys.survation.com/s3/atf

I filled this survey in online, but it had little relevance to anything other than the fashion and apparel sectors. The snapshot will be out of focus.

Hi Michael,

The survey ahs questions relating to local manufacturing, exporting, IP and risks and opportunties for TCF businesses, all I would have thought would be relevant to INC. What sort of questions would you like us to ask for future surveys?

P.S. keep in mind we have to keep it to a certain length otherwise people get bored and don't complete!

Also our findings can be split by business type (cross tabbing) which means we can seperate the textile, clothing and footwear businesses.

Hi James,

I found your survey should be fairly relevant to most TCF manufacturers.
Would be interested to know the results.
